TRAINEE GAS & PLUMBING TRAINER | £35k | Cambridgeshire

Location: Training Centre in St Ives, Cambridgeshire Salary: £35,000 per year Starting Salary Job Type: Full-time, Permanent | Trainee Position (Training Provided)

Are you a time-served Gas & Plumbing professional ready to 'down tools' and transition your expertise into a rewarding training career? This is a highly sought-after Trainee Tutor position-we require your Gas and Plumbing knowledge; we will provide ALL the training and qualifications needed to succeed as a Trainer.

STARTING SALARY: Begin earning £35,000 immediately.
FULLY FUNDED TRAINING: All teaching and assessor qualifications (AET and TAQA) will be provided and funded by the employer.
PAY UPGRADE: Once qualified as an assessor your annual salary increases to £38,000.
PREMIUM BENEFITS: 36 days annual leave + Christmas Break, Company Pension, Free Parking, and Sick Pay.

The Role: Coaching the Next Generation

You will be involved in teaching, coaching, and mentoring post 16 learners undertaking crucial Level 3 Gas & Plumbing qualifications in a high-tech facility.

Delivery: Deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of Gas & Plumbing qualifications.
Mentorship: Provide hands-on coaching and technical guidance to learners in the training centre.
Focus: Training apprentices in line with relevant awarding body standards.
Environment: Work in a rewarding, self-motivated team environment that values a 'hands-on approach.'

Essential Requirements (Your Experience is Your Qualification)

We are looking for proven occupational experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering:

Occupational Experience: Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within Gas & Plumbing.
Technical Qualification: A time served Gas & Plumbing professional that holds a Level 3 related Gas & Plumbing qualification.
Soft Skills: Good communication, presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, rewarding environment.
