Job Description

Trainee Health and Social Care Assessor Hours: 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday / Home / mobile / Hybrid Salary: £24,638 - £25,709 /( Full Training provided) / Mileage / expenses/ Location: North Wales Full training provided * We are seeking an experienced dedicated Health and Social Care Worker who would like to train and become a qualified Healthcare Assessor to support learners in achieving their qualifications through high-quality training and workplace assessments. * This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with occupational working background and experience within the Healthcare sector and would like a change in their career! What you’ll do: * You'll receive ongoing training and become a qualified Assessor * Deliver and assess training programmes to learners across a regional area. * Support learners with Individual Learning Plans and track progress. * Develop course materials and maintain accurate learner records. * Ensure quality standards, compliance, and positive outcomes. * Build strong working relationships with employers. What we’re looking for: * Occupational experience within Healthcare * Already have a level 3 in Health and Social Care * Willingness to work towards Assessor Award (CAVA/TAQA). * Full driving licence and access to a vehicle. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. Desirable: * Experience in apprenticeships or work-based learning. * Assessor qualifications (CAVA/TAQA). * Enjoy helping others and developing their health and social care skills * Ability to provide good coaching and help others become more competent in the workplace * Welsh language skills (Desirable) Personal qualities: * We’re looking for someone who empowers others, shows a real passion for learning. * Someone who is committed to inclusion. * You’ll be self-motivated, enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible in your approach. * A true team player, you’ll thrive under pressure, foster growth by improving processes and practices, and bring positivity to everything you do. * A enhanced DBS will be required for this position (Employer will cover the cost on offer of * employment) This is a great chance to develop your career while making a real impact on learners’ futures.
