Trainee Assessor in Health and Social Care / Hybrid Salary: £24,638 - £26,780 Location: Remote in CF11 Cardiff and surrounding areas (You will be required to visit learners in this area once trained). Contract: Full-time, permanent Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm Are you a health care professional looking for a change in you career? About the role: * As a Trainee Assessor you will provide end to end structured support to apprenticeship learners on programme. * You will be trained and guided to ensure the most effective and up-to-date approaches are implemented to prepare learners to successfully progress in their Health and Social Care qualification. * The apprenticeship program provides learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in Health and Social Care, equipping them with essential skills for a successful career in the industry. What’s in it for you? * You will work towards a nationally recognised assessor qualification Work from home and employer visits. * Work life balance * No weekends * Access to several great benefits, including 30 days of annual leave (rising with length of service) Health care scheme * 35 hours of working week Discounts for retail and gym membership, a profit-sharing scheme, * Life insurance, employee of the month awards, length of service recognition, and much more. * 45p per mileage paid Your requirements: * Ensure the highest training standards by adapting to learner needs. * Cover a regional area and travel to learners' workplaces for assessments. * Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways. * Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements. * Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements. * Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets. * Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed. * Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies. What are we looking for? * Willing to work towards an Assessors qualification * Already have a level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care * Relevant training will be provided for a teaching qualifications (e.g., A1 Assessor award). * An understanding Experience in an apprenticeship setting. * Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery. * Full driving license and access to a vehicle. * Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWCregistration. * Welsh speaking is desirable.
