Job Opportunity: Trainee Home Manager – Children’s Residential – Walsall
We are recruiting a dedicated Trainee Home Manager / Experienced Deputy Manager for a new Children’s Residential Service with a reputable Children’s Residential Provider in Walsall. This full-time, permanent position offers a developmental pathway to becoming a Registered Manager, with a competitive salary of £42,000 - £62,000 including benefits. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step into a leadership role with comprehensive support.

* Home: New residential facility supporting up to 4 children with EBD

* Career Path: Comprehensive training and development to progress to Registered Manager
Essential Requirements:
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent), with NVQ level 5 in process / willing to undertake this
* Experience: Significant experience as a Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-registered children’s residential setting, including managing staff to deliver high-quality care and handling budgets
* Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and team motivation abilities
* Commitment: Passion for safeguarding, improving young people’s lives, and upholding Ofsted standards
* Other: Full driving licence
