Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group, for the position of Part-Time Trainee People Advisor based in Westbury, Wiltshire. Duties:
  * Support the People Team with employee relations and HR administration
  * Assist in preparing employee relations documentation, reports, and correspondence
  * Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR systems
  * Support administration and coordination of employee relation cases
  * Attend meetings to take notes and support HR colleagues
  * Respond to routine HR and people-related queries from managers and team members
  * Support onboarding and employee lifecycle administration
  * Help review and update HR policies, procedures, and templates in line with GDPR compliance
  * Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives
  * Assist in preparing management information reports
  * Build positive working relationships across the business
  * Support delivery of company culture activities
  * Participate in relevant training to enhance HR knowledge and skills
  * Act as an ambassador for the People Team and our client
Requirements for the Trainee HR Advisor position:
  * Excellent organisational and time management skills
  * Strong administrative ability and attention to detail
  * Computer-literate with confidence using various software and technologies
  * Previous experience in HR, office administration, or the automotive industry is beneficial but not essential
  * A UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not mandatory
