Trainee HR Coordinator
£23,810pa, NN17 1QE, 33 days leave, 8.30am till 4.30pm M-F, Pension, Training (fully funded), Parking. Permanent
Due to continued success and rapid expansion plans, a UK manufacturing site of a global company has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee HR Coordinator to join them. You will be providing HR support across the site, working directly for the HR Manager:
Answering all incoming general HR questions and queries from employees, in person as well as via telephone and email
Day to day administration duties related to HR, maintaining and updating personnel files, replying to emails, setting up new employees - sending out offer letters, arranging inductions and training
Assisting with recruitment drives, working closely with hiring managers, advertising roles, short-listing candidates, diary management with hiring managers sending out interview invites
Working closely with H&S Manager and Quality Manager, and ensuring all relevant documentation is correct and present, arranging any annual/renewal external training requirement
Daily management of TMS, collating hours for payroll, loading annual leave requests, monitoring absences
Arranging Employee Relationship days for local based charities, and social functions
Working closely with other internal commercial departments, including purchasing and finance and providing business administration support when required
We would expect the successful Trainee HR Coordinator to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and administration processes, be an excellent communicator and be a people person, who always endeavours to help and assist, building relationships. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with HR and company Processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you are looking to kick start a career in HR, and are a Law or Business Graduate or a time-served Business Apprentice (or equivalent).
You will be joining the Corby site of a company that has been established for over 50 years, and has an enviable reputation in their field of manufacturing. Working directly with the management team, this role offers the opportunity to grow your skills with HR and become CIPD qualified, as well as offering practical experience on a daily basis.
