Trainee HVAC Engineer – Cleanroom / Controlled Environments
Location: Ballymount, Dublin 24 (must live within c.1 hour commute)
Salary: Up to €40,000 DOE
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Holidays: 25 days annual leave + public holidays
Syntech is proud to be working with an established technical services company in the
Dublin area who are looking for a Trainee HVAC Engineer to join its team, working on
cleanrooms and other controlled environments.
This is a permanent, full-time role with structured training and long-term progression
in a specialist, growing field.
Package
Salary up to €40,000, depending on experience and qualifications
39-hour working week, Monday–Friday
25 days’ annual leave + public holidays

The Role
You will:
Support the testing, commissioning and de-commissioning of HVAC systems in
cleanrooms / controlled environments
Carry out routine measurements, checks and troubleshooting under
supervision
Work to detailed procedures and quality standards
Prepare basic reports and documentation on work completed
Liaise with senior engineers and customers on-site when required
Build your technical skills with a clear path to becoming a fully competent
HVAC / cleanroom engineer
Full training will be provided; responsibility will increase as you gain experience.
Candidate Profile
Because of the technical nature of the work, a relevant qualification is required:
Bachelor’s degree (level 7 or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Building
Services, HVAC, Energy, Process, or a closely related discipline
You should also have:
Genuine interest in HVAC, building services or cleanroom /
controlled-environment systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures
Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Clear communication skills and a professional approach on customer sites
Full driving licence (or working towards it) is an advantage
