Role: Trainee Maintenance Engineer (Full training Provided)
Location: Basildon
Shift: M-F days only (Flexi hours) with generous weekend OT
Salary: £30,000 plus plenty of overtime to easily earn more, Pension, Development and training including PLC qualifications

They are currently looking for a Trainee Maintenance Engineer at their site in Basildon, this is one of their most important functions within the business. This is a great opportunity with a global company with lots of on the job and external training starting as soon as January, There is a very clear progression path from Junior Engineer to be a vital member of the Maintenance Team
The Role
As a Trainee Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities include;
- Performing Preventative Maintenance on various bits of equipment including Sorters, Conveyors and associated systems
- Responding to Emergency repairs to minimise site downtime and keep the efficiency of the site high
- Working underneath the Lead engineer learning on the job and working with issues and system performance
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults and keeping the lines up and running
The Candidate
In a Trainee Maintenance Engineer we are looking for is;
- Have the passion to succeed in the world of Engineer
- Someone willing to learn and develop their technical skillset
- Has some form of hand on experience
The Package
As a Trainee Maintenance Engineer you will receive;
- An annual salary of £30,000 per annum
