Job Purpose:
Working as part of a growing team to collaboratively ensure that all clients receive a high level of customer service and support, ensuring that clients’ requirements are completed in an effective and timely manner.
Reporting directly to director level and working closely with the business service director to provide finance and management accounting services for a range of clients.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
* Assisting clients with their financial record keeping, which is increasingly moving to Cloud-based solutions.
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts, payroll, VAT returns, from client records, for; sole traders, partnership and limited companies.
* Contributing to providing an excellent client service and experience, ensuring that work requirements are effectively complete
Additional role with training:
* Assisting with the preparation of year end working papers and accounts from client records.
Key Skills required:
* Desirably some experience or interest of businesses within the agricultural/rural or sustainability sector.
* Have experience and be competent with different cloud based accounts packages, such as; Sage, QuickBooks and Xero.
* Excellent MS Office Knowledge, especially MS Excel.
* Excellent Google suite knowledge.
* Strong school level qualifications, including B grade (or equivalent) for Maths and English.
* AAT qualified or near to completion, or equivalent.

* Conscientious with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident and resilient in nature, with an empathetic nature to provide support to the wider team.
* High level of personal integrity.
* Excellent verbal, written and communication skills, with a personal desire to provide a high level of customer service.
* Be confident, approachable and well presented.
* The ability to work autonomously.
* Exceptional organisation and time management skills
Other requirements:
* Live within commuting distance of the office location.
* Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
