The Opportunity
As a Trainee Mortgage Advisor / Trainee Mortgage Broker, you will receive full professional training and hands-on mentoring from experienced Mortgage Advisors. You’ll learn how to assess client needs, research mortgage products across the whole market, and deliver the right advice.
This structured development programme combines learning, practical experience, and real client interaction. You’ll gain exposure to residential, remortgage, and buy-to-let cases, as well as protection products such as life insurance, critical illness cover, and income protection. Key Responsibilities
Working from a busy Walthamstow estate-agency branch, you’ll assist clients throughout their mortgage journey — from first enquiry to completion. You’ll collaborate closely with in-branch sales teams, follow up on leads, liaise with lenders, and ensure every recommendation meets FCA compliance standards.
As you develop confidence and experience, you’ll begin to manage your own portfolio of clients across Walthamstow and North London, advising independently and building lasting relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.

Candidate Requirements
