Job Title: Trainee NDT Inspector
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £16.22phr – Increasing upon completion of training up to £20.24phr
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are working with a client who provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centre of excellence in the UK. They are seeking a Trainee NDT Inspector to join their Assembly team based at their Glasgow facility.
As a Trainee NDT Inspector, you will carry out non-destructive testing activities to ensure the quality, integrity, and safety of materials and components.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform inspections using approved NDT methods
* Interpret and evaluate results against established codes, standards, and specifications
* Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain detailed records of findings
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and customer requirements
* Support continuous improvement and contribute to maintaining a strong safety and quality culture
* Liaise with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
* Maintain calibration and care of NDT equipment
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong attention to detail and an interest in engineering or quality control
* Good problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
* Ability to follow technical instructions and work to high standards
* Previous engineering or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential

* You will receive comprehensive training across relevant Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, working towards achieving Level 2 NDT certification in accordance with NAS410/EN4179 aerospace standards.
