Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Press Brake Operator to join one of ouur clients manufacturing team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with prior manufacturing or fabrication experience who are eager to learn press brake operations and grow within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities for Press brake operator
*
Assist in the setup, operation, and adjustment of CNC press brake machines under supervision.
*
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
*
Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
*
Support experienced operators in machine calibration, material handling, and routine maintenance.
*
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards.
*
Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies.
Qualifications
*
Previous experience in a manufacturing, metalworking, or fabrication environment required.
*
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of hand tools and measurement instruments
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is an asset.
*
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
*
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Training & Development
*
Full training provided on press brake operation, machine setup, and safety practices.
