Trainee Quality Inspector

Salary: £28,000 per annum + car or car allowance £4,250 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Working hours are flexible as necessitated by operations. This role is site based across various locations within the UK, Europe and Worldwide)

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated Trainee Quality Inspector to join their dynamic inspection team. You will carry out and supervise the inspection, weighing and sampling of various commodities to pre-defined standards, using appropriate methods.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out and/or supervise the inspection, weighing and sampling of various commodities within the metals and minerals division
Perform various types of audits within the metals and minerals commodity industries
Produce accurate and detailed reports relating to work undertaken in a timely manner
Maintain close liaison with coordination teams
Ensure adherence to company quality systems and Health & Safety protocolsEssential Requirements
Education & Experience:
Educated to A-level standard (or equivalent experience/qualification)
Valid passport and full driving licence with no more than 6 points, and no IN, TT, DG or DR offences
Minimum of two years driving experience (Full Manual UK Driving Licence and European Driving Licence accepted only)Key Skills:
Ability to build strong relationships across departments and with clients
Excellent communication skills to ensure high-quality service delivery
Strong problem-solving abilities with dispute resolution skills
Conflict resolution capabilities
