The Role
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with our experienced commercial team, learning all aspects of quantity surveying in a hands-on, supportive environment. You'll assist with cost planning, procurement, valuations, and project reporting, while gaining valuable on-site experience.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting senior QSs in managing project budgets and costs
*
Assisting with preparation of tenders, contracts, and cost estimates
*
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and procurement
*
Helping to prepare valuations and applications for payment
*
Monitoring project progress and reporting on commercial matters
*
Maintaining accurate records and documentation
What We’re Looking For
*
A strong interest in construction and commercial management
*
A-levels or equivalent; studying or planning to study a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
*
Excellent numeracy and communication skills
*
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
*
A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
*
Full UK driving licence (or working towards it) preferred
