TSA Surveying is an Employee Owned (EOT) specialist recruitment agency based in Leeds. With 20 years + experience operating in the surveying and property sector we have excellent long-term relationships with a number of the key clients in the sector, and as such we quite often work on an exclusive or preferred status with our top customers.
This Graduate Recruitment Consultant position is within our Property Division and you will be focusing on a variety of sub sectors of property which include Surveying, Commercial Property Management, Property Investment, Auctions, Residential Lettings and Property Management, Block Management and Property Sales.
The team is led by one of our Principal Consultants who has superb experience training and mentoring people new to recruitment.
What you will be doing
In your first 6 – 12 months you will be working towards becoming a competent Recruitment Consultant who can identify and interview candidates so you can then recommend suitable jobs for them to consider. This will all be done under the watchful eye of an experienced recruiter who will be helping you develop your skill set on a daily basis.
Assist in the identification and attraction of top-tier candidates
Ensure that candidates meet the criteria established by the client
Take time to understand the candidate motivators and expectations in terms of career
Maintain and build a comprehensive candidate pipeline via an established candidate attraction method
Manage and communicate effectively during the candidate and client journey
You will typically be responsible for a number of search assignments at any one time, as such you will be expected to manage your own workload as such
What are we looking for
To become a successful recruitment consultant you need to have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a natural source of resilience. A career in recruitment can be very financially rewarding but success is not instant, so we need someone who is prepared to learn, develop and appreciates that this will take some time.
Someone who is confident, fearless and driven to be successful
Someone comfortable on the phone, i.e. prior experience in customer services, outbound sales or other phone based roles
Someone able to understand and assimilate detailed information of a technical nature
Excellent communication in both verbal and written format
Ideally someone who has some experience working in the property sector, but this is not essential
