Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Manchester
We've just opened a brand-new office in Spinningfields, one of Manchester's most exciting business districts, and we're hiring ambitious individuals to grow with us!
At g2 Recruitment, we're specialists in placing top talent into technical industries across the UK & Europe. Recruitment is a fast-paced, phone-based sales role, and we're looking for ambitious people who are confident, resilient, and hungry to succeed.
Whether you've got a background in B2B/B2C Sales, Customer Service, or you've thrived in competitive sports or leadership roles at University, this could be your next big move. We're not interested in how many years of experience you've got, we're interested in your potential!
What we offer:
£24,000-£24,750 base salary
Uncapped commission from day one (no thresholds)
OTE: £35K-£45K in Year 1, with £100K+ realistic by Year 3
Promotions based on merit, not time served

A driven, social team with serious plans to growWhat you'll be doing:
Building your own client and candidate network within a specialist industry (Tech, IT, or Engineering in the UK or EU)
Managing the full 360° recruitment process - from winning business to placing candidates
Making sales calls, pitching roles, negotiating offers, and closing deals
Working to clear KPIs and targets in a high-energy, competitive office
Building strong relationships over the phone and in personYou'll be a strong fit if you:
Are confident speaking to new people and can build rapport quickly
Have experience working towards targets (sales, fundraising, sport, etc.)
Can take knockbacks and keep going - recruitment isn't always easy
Want to earn, learn, and move up quickly based on what you deliver
