Job Description
First Achieve are working with a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment, renowned for their high-quality production standards. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Trainee Shot Blaster to their team.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and organising parts for blasting
Loading and unloading items into blasting equipment
Following production deadlines and schedules
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
Carrying out basic equipment checks and maintenance (filters, nozzles, dust extraction units, etc.)
Using safety equipment correctly at all times
Working to company procedures and policies
Communicating effectively with colleagues
✅ What They're Looking For:
No experience required - full training will be provided
Willingness to do hands-on, physical work (the role is noisy, dusty, and requires protective gear)
Positive, "can-do" attitude and reliability
Mechanical ability beneficial (confidence with tools and machinery helps)
Organised and able to work on own initiative (preparing parts, managing workload without constant supervision)
Strong communication skills
🔑 Desirable (but not essential - training provided):
Valid forklift licence
