Job Description
My client is a well established healthcare ventilation specialist that covering all over the UK and is on the lookout for new engineers to help expansion. They have over 20 years of perfecting their role for their client and working with hospitals, labs and care homes to make sure that these places are free from pathogens, airborne viruses and potential hazards. They care about what they do and this means their clients are always looked after.
Due to expansion they are recruiting for a Trainee Ventilation Engineer, you will be:-
* Fully trained on Testing an commissioning, rebalancing, producing reports, working to CIBSE regulations
* Covering around the Bristol and Bath areas down to Southampton and down the M4 into Wiltshire mostly
* Working with clients across the healthcare sector – labs, hospitals, care homes
* Staying away when needed and working evenings and nights when needed – you get plenty of notice when you are staying away for a few nights
Salary and Benefits of a trainee ventilation engineer
* 26k basic salary – pay review after your probation period
* Door to door travel pay
* Van, phone, expenses, overtime available
* 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays – this goers up to 25 days + 8 bank holidays after a year
* All expenses paid when staying away
* Yearly team building trips as a thank you
Background and skills needed to be a trainee ventilation engineer:-
* Ideally living around the Bristol, Somerset or Bath areas so you can be close to the office
* You need to be ok with occasionally staying away and sometimes doing unsociable hours
* Having any site experience or hand tools experience or H/S knowledge or air flow experience would be beneficial but is not essential
* They are looking for someone that sees this as a good career prospect and someone that wants training and progression within a company.
