About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Trainee Welder/Fabricator to join our clients growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in welding and fabrication, with full training provided and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive working environment.
You will work alongside experienced fabricators and welders to learn a range of skills including MIG/TIG welding, cutting, drilling, tapping, bending, forming, grinding, assembly, and reading technical drawings. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, has a keen eye for detail, and is eager to develop a long-term career in the engineering or manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the fabrication and welding of metal components and assemblies
Learn to interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications
Operate hand tools, grinders, saws, and welding equipment under supervision
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Support the production team with general workshop duties
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies
Undertake any training as required for the role
Requirements:
A genuine interest in welding and fabrication
Willingness to learn and take instruction
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Punctual, reliable, and physically fit
Some prior experience or qualification (e.g. in Engineering or Metalwork) is desirable but not essential

Days Regular, Mon-thurs 7:00 -16:00, early finish on a Friday.
