Job Description
A growing manufacturing company in Mildenhall is looking for a Trainee Welder to join their fabrication team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on, workshop or factory experience who is keen to learn a skilled trade.
Full MIG welding training will be provided on-site, with the opportunity to develop your skills and progress into a long-term welding career.
Trainee Welder Duties:
Training in MIG welding techniques
Preparing metal components ready for welding
Learning to read technical drawings and work instructions
Carrying out basic welding under supervision
Using workshop tools and equipment safely
Supporting the fabrication team with day-to-day tasks
Keeping the work area clean and following Health & Safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For:
Previous workshop, factory or hands-on experience
An interest in welding and fabrication
Comfortable using basic hand and mechanical tools
Good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
Willing to learn and take instruction
Reliable with a positive attitude and good work ethicWhat You'll Receive:
