Tram Maintainer (Nights) - Dublin
Location: Sandyford Depot, Dublin
Job type: Permanent, Full-time (Permanent Nights)
Salary: €32,441 base + 33% night shift allowance
About the role
We're hiring on behalf of our client, Transdev Dublin (Luas), for a Tram Maintainer to support fleet operations at the Sandyford Depot. This is a hands-on role ideal for practical, safety-minded candidates with an interest in mechanics/electrics and a willingness to learn.
What you'll do
Perform pre-use checks on vehicles in line with Company, Quality, and Health & Safety procedures
Carry out vehicle preparation work as required
Attend team briefings and communicate relevant updates
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures
Report accidents/incidents via the appropriate channels
What you'll need
Full, clean driving licence (light vehicles) - essential
Fluent English and strong communication skills
Good ICT skills (Microsoft Office)
Practical aptitude in mechanics/electronics/hydraulics/pneumatics an advantage
Experience in rolling stock maintenance or a similar environment is an advantage, not essential
Hours & pay
Permanent nights at Sandyford Depot
€32,441 base salary + 33% night shift allowance (total approx. €43,146)
