Transaction Manager Vacancy – Reading

 Our client, a reputable main dealership in Reading, is seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to join their team. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled automotive sales professional looking to advance into a leadership role within a well-established, family-owned dealership.

 The Transaction Manager will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction, sales profitability, and operational efficiency.

 Benefits of a Transaction Manager:

£30,000 Basic Salary
£60,000 OTE
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 6.00pm; one day off during the week; Saturday, 8.30am – 5.00pm; no Sundays
31 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays

Life insurance cover at three times annual salary
Opportunity for career development within a leading dealershipDuties of a Transaction Manager:

Oversee the transaction process to ensure excellent customer experience
Develop and nurture relationships with the sales team, finance providers, and insurance partners
Assist customers with finance, insurance, and additional purchase products, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations
Prepare and present finance proposals; support the sales team in closing profitable deals
Maximise sales efficiency through effective lead management and reporting
Support achievement of dealership targets for new and used vehicle sales
Provide coaching and support to sales staff, enhancing performance
Deputise for the Sales Manager as required
Ensure accurate order processing and timely vehicle delivery
Contribute to financial forecasting and profitability analysisRequirements of a Transaction Manager:

Proven experience in automotive sales management or a senior sales position
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Significant showroom experience within the automotive industry
Knowledge of finance, insurance products, and FCA regulations
FCA accreditation or willingness to obtain it
Ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams
Organisational skills with high attention to detail
