️ Transfer Station Administrator & Weighbridge Operator – Immediate Start
📍 Location: Blackpool (FY4 5NQ)
💰 Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:30 (30-minute lunch)
⏱️ Overtime: May be available
We’re currently recruiting for a Transfer Station Administrator & Weighbridge Operator to join a busy and well-established waste management site. This role is ideal for someone organised, safety-focused, and confident working in both administrative and operational environments.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
*
Assist with general administrative duties, including answering phones, filing, and processing documentation.
*
Perform document compliance checks and work with spreadsheets to maintain accurate data.
*
Operate the weighbridge when required, ensuring all vehicle movements are recorded correctly.
*
Carry out site inductions for visitors and ensure they have the appropriate PPE before entering the site.
*
Complete all required documentation in line with legal and company guidelines.
*
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
*
Communicate effectively with team members and deliver excellent customer service at all times.
✅ Requirements:
*
Previous experience in a waste, recycling, or similar process environment is highly advantageous.
*
Weighbridge operation experience preferred.
*
Strong understanding of Health & Safety principles.
*
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*
Proficient IT skills, with experience using Excel and data systems.
*
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
