Shift Options Available:

  * 4 on 4 off Days – 06:00 to 18:00

  * 4 on 4 off Nights – 18:00 to 06:00

Transport Administrator – The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join the busy transport office of a well-established national logistics and distribution business based at Magna Park, Lutterworth.

This Transport Administrator role is a key position within the transport team, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of deliveries, driver communication, vehicle movements, and transport administration.

The successful Transport Administrator will be working within a fast-paced logistics environment where accuracy, organisation, and communication are essential.

This opportunity would suit someone with previous experience as a Transport Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Fleet Administrator, or someone from a haulage or distribution administration background.

Key Responsibilities of the Transport Administrator

  * Providing day-to-day administrative support to the transport department

  * Processing transport paperwork accurately and efficiently

  * Updating internal systems with vehicle, trailer, driver, and delivery information

  * Liaising with drivers regarding route information, delays, paperwork, and queries

  * Monitoring and tracking deliveries, collections, and trailer movements

  * Handling incoming calls and emails from customers, drivers, and internal departments

  * Supporting driver debriefs and ensuring all relevant documentation is returned correctly

  * Escalating transport delays, issues, or discrepancies where required

  * Assisting with compliance administration and maintaining accurate records

  * Working closely with the warehouse and operations teams to maintain service levels

What We Are Looking For In A Transport Administrator

  * Previous administration experience is essential

  * Previous experience within transport, logistics, fleet, haulage, or distribution is highly desirable

  * Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

  * Confident communicator over the phone and by email

  * Ability to work under pressure in a busy operational office

  * Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and transport systems

  * Reliable, proactive, and team focused
