We are currently recruting for a Transport / Fleet Administrator to join a busy logistics company to support the H&S / Compliance Department with general admin duties.
About the Transport / Fleet Administrator role:
* Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm (potential for flexibilty on working hours)
* £13.50 per hour
* Temporary role for a minimum of 4 - 5 months, potential to become permanent
* Based in SN2 area of Swindon (public transport is available)
Duties for the Transport / Fleet Administrator Role:
* Answering incident calls, filling in the first notification claim form and obtaining all relevant details, such as photographs, to be escalated to Senior team.
* Obtain monthly meter readings from depots, send to suppliers and manage record keeping.
* Opening and closing jobs for vehicle hires. This will involve calling, costing and speaking with depots and the workshop to ensure jobs are accurate.
* Adding and removing vehicles from the tolls.
* Collating data and sending weekly depot statistics.
* Complete GOV Road Haulage Surveys
* Carry out Driving Licence checks, ensuring records are up to date & accurate
* Sending Penalty Charge Notices out to relevant parties
* Ordering and stock checking uniform, ensuring records are kept up to date.
* Collect timesheets on a weekly basis and email to Payroll Department
* Sort internal mail
* There may be scope for increasing responsibility to include more indepth insurance tasks; however, this can be explored once the you learn the basics.
Experience /Skills required for the Transport / Fleet Administrator:
* Strong admin skills
* Previous experience working within a transport / fleet environment would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
* Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
* Computer literate including good Microsoft Skills including Excel, Outlook & Word
* Ability to work as part of a team or unsupervised
* Good communication skills
