Job Description
We’re seeking a Transport Administrator / Clerk to support our fast-paced logistics operation. Based at our site in Darlington, you’ll play a vital role in helping the team manage day-to-day delivery schedules, driver admin, and compliance.
Transport Administrator Responsibilities:
* Liaising with drivers
* Assisting the Transport Planner with daily deliveries
* Ensuring all legal and compliance documentation is accurate and up to date
* Ensuring all driver admin is up to date
* Booking drivers & driver mates using our booking system Influence
* General admin duties including data entry, filing, and reporting
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in a transport/logistics admin role (preferred)
* Strong IT skills
* Good understanding of driver hours, WTD, and transport compliance
* Excellent communication and organisation
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and work to deadlines
* A proactive, team-oriented attitude
