Job Description
Driver Briefer – Temp to Perm
York (YO30) | £13.33 per hour | Tuesday–Saturday | 2pm–10pm
Immediate start – Weekly pay – Thrive Personnel
Thrive Personnel are recruiting for a Driver Briefer to join a leading parcel sorting & logistics company in York (YO30). This is a long-term temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
The Role
*
Brief and debrief multi-drop delivery drivers
*
Issue route packs, scanners and compliance documentation
*
Check in paperwork and returned parcels at end of shift
*
Update transport systems and record delivery data
*
Liaise with transport supervisors and warehouse teams
*
General admin and operational support as required
Shift Details
*
Tuesday to Saturday – 2:00pm to 10:00pm
*
£13.33 per hour – paid weekly
*
Temp to perm progression available after qualifying period
About You
*
Experience in a transport office / driver briefing / logistics admin role
*
Strong attention to detail with confident communication skills
*
IT literate and comfortable using handheld scanners
*
Reliable, organised and used to fast-paced operations
