Transport Coordinator - Newport (Magor), Monmouthshire

Are you looking for a dynamic role within a growing transport operation? We’re seeking a proactive Transport Coordinator to join our busy depot near Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established team, offering excellent career progression and hands-on experience in logistics coordination.

Salary & Benefits:

  * Days: £538–£615 per week (approx. £28K–£32K per annum)

  * Nights: £577–£654 per week (approx. £30K–£34K per annum)

  * Career progression opportunities, including training towards a planning role

Key Responsibilities:

  * Provide administrative support to managers and planners

  * Manage data input and generate reports using computer systems

  * Liaise with customers and drivers via phone and email

  * Coordinate deliveries and driver schedules

  * Handle driver pay sheets and resolve queries

  * Ensure vehicle maintenance standards through liaison with service providers

  * Daily interaction with warehouse and management personnel

Requirements:

  * Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks

  * Calm under pressure with a methodical, organised approach

  * Confident working independently and as part of a team

  * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  * Previous admin or transport experience desirable but not essential
