Transport Coordinator
Location: Wrexham
Holiday: 28 Days
Working Hours:
*
During probation: Monday to Friday, 07:30am – 16:30pm (42.5 hours/week)
*
Post-probation (45 hours/week):
- Week 1: Monday 05:00am – 2:30pm, Tuesday to Friday 12:30pm – 10:00pm
- Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday 05:00am – 2:30pm
Are you an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing food production company based in Wrexham. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and supportive logistics team, ensuring products are delivered efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate transport schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
*
Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams, and external transport providers
*
Ensure compliance with legal transport regulations and company policies
*
Monitor fleet performance, delivery times, and resolve issues as they arise
*
Maintain accurate transport records and update systems accordingly
*
Support with route planning, cost control, and overall transport efficiency
What We're Looking For:
*
Previous experience in a transport or logistics coordination role (manufacturing or food sector experience is desirable)
*
Strong organisational and time-management skills
*
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
*
Competent with transport management systems and Microsoft Office
*
Flexibility to work early starts and occasional weekends post-probation
