Cambridge (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)

Are you a skilled CAD Technician with a passion for transport and highways design? Join a dynamic and growing consultancy based in Cambridge, known for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the UK.
I'm looking for a Transport & Highways CAD Technician to support my client's expanding workload. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and flexible working environment, with a strong pipeline of projects, providing Technician support to the Transport Planning and Highways Engineering design teams.
What you'll be doing:
Preparing technical design drawings using AutoCAD, including swept path analysis and vehicle tracking.
Supporting engineers in the design of highways, transport infrastructure, and public realm projects
Working closely with the wider team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawings and models
Assisting with planning applications and design submissions
The ideal candidate:
Experience in a similar CAD Technician role within highways/transport infrastructure
Proficient in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and a collaborative working style
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
