Are you an experienced Transport Manager looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting for a forward-thinking manufacturing and distribution business that needs a leader to drive performance, compliance, and innovation within its transport function based out of their Lincoln site.
Transport Manager Job Overview -
Lead day-to-day transport operations, managing a sizeable HGV fleet.
Modernise systems and processes - from route optimisation to telematics and fleet management.
Deliver a transport strategy that supports growth and sustainability goals.
Ensure full legal compliance, O-Licence management, and safety excellence.
Oversee audits (e.g. FORS, RHA, Blue Audit) and implement corrective actions.
Manage budgets, KPIs, and service levels, driving continuous improvement.
Develop and motivate the transport team through coaching and training.Transport Manager Job Requirements -
CPC Transport Manager qualification.
5+ years' experience managing a transport fleet (30+ vehicles ideal).
Strong knowledge of UK transport regulations and compliance.
Skilled in transport management systems, telematics, and route planning.
