Job Description
Pertemps is currently recruiting for a highly experienced and self-motivated Transport Manager for a 6 month contract for our Haulage client based in both Milton Keynes and Oxford.
Salary: £45,000
Contract: 6 months fixed term
Hours: Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Duties:
Ensure full compliance with DVSA regulations, operator licensing conditions, driver hours and tachograph rules, and all relevant transport legislation.
Manage all aspects of fleet maintenance, including inspections, servicing, MOT's and defect reporting
Overseeing training, performance monitoring and monitoring fuel usage,
Maintain accurate transport records, including vehicle files, driver logs, maintenance schedules and incident reports.Requirements:
You must have a valid full CPC.
Previous Transport Management experience
Deep understanding of UK transport regulations—including driver hours and tachograph requirements.
Confident user of transport management systems, Microsoft Office, and strong overall IT proficiency
