Job Description
Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Transport Manager for the regional division of a £75m waste company in Sheffield

Main duties will include:
* Adhere to and implement group Health & Safety Policies.
*
Plan and coordinate efficient, cost-effective vehicle scheduling and routing to maximise utilisation.
*
Organise and allocate driver and operative resources effectively for designated areas.
*
Accurately complete all required collection documentation, both paper-based and digital.
*
Maintain full compliance with transport regulations, including vehicle maintenance and drivers’ hours.
*
Collaborate with regional administration teams to ensure seamless transport operations and documentation.
*
Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
*
Work collaboratively with other managers across the business to meet their transport needs.
*
Ensure all driver training requirements are current and fully compliant.
Skills and experience:
*
Holder of a valid CPC qualification.
*
Understanding of ADR regulations and the transport requirements for Dangerous Goods.
*
Dedicated to upholding CSG’s Health & Safety standards.
*
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
*
Effective and clear communicator.
*
Proficient in using computer systems.
*
Able to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
*
Previous experience in a transport office is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
*
Experience within the waste sector is desirable but not essential, with training available.
*
Knowledge of Salesforce, Field Service, or similar work planning systems is desirable.
Role information:
* £36,000 - £38,000 DOE
* 40 hour per week
* Full time Permanent
* 33 days holiday inclusive of public bank holidays.
