Job Title: Transport Planner / Coordinator
Location: Eirth, Dartford.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner / Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating transport operations, with a particular focus on European import and export movements.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure smooth and efficient transport operations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and monitor European transport movements for both imports and exports.
Arrange collections and deliveries, ensuring all transport activities are completed on time and in line with customer requirements.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and hauliers to manage bookings and resolve any issues.
Maintain accurate transport records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant transport legislation and company policies.
Work closely with internal departments to support operational efficiency and service delivery.
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience as a Transport Planner, Transport Coordinator, or in a similar logistics role.
Strong understanding of European transport operations, including import/export procedures.
Proven ability to arrange and manage collections and deliveries effectively.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
IT literate, with experience using transport management or logistics systems.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience.
