Pallexlogistics Dorset are recruiting a Transport Planner to join our friendly team basedin Christchurch.

Working hours required: 45 hours per week Monday to Friday 4am or 5am till 2pm or 3pm

About the role:

Duties include:

  * Create efficient and compliant daily delivery plan to maximise the vehicle productivity of our Pall-Ex multi drop collection and delivery fleet

  * Report daily the PPV across the full delivery operation

  * Promote changes in operations to promote further efficiency or cost saving opportunities

  * Liaise with the Collections (Input Customers) and Trunking Co-Ordinator to ensure that the delivery plan fully supports the customer collection plan each day

  * Ensure Service performance and ETA targets are achieved daily

  * Oversee morning operation and ensure the Transport team are all engaged with the daily plan

The ideal candidate will have:

  * Transport Knowledge/experience

  * Local Geographical Knowledge

  * Proactive Team Player

  * Good people management skills

  * Excellent communication skills

  * Highly organised and excellent time management

  * Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
