Transport Planner Job Overview
As a Transport Planner you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and optimising subcontracted transport operations.
You will ensure the efficient movement of goods, maintain compliance with regulations, and work closely with our subcontractor network to meet client demands. A strong understanding of technology and an openness to innovation will be essential as we continue to integrate AI and smart tools into our daily operations.Transport Planner Job Requirements
Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules with subcontractors
Optimise routing using both traditional methods and AI-driven tools
Communicate effectively with drivers, subcontractors, and clients
Monitor transport performance and resolve operational issues
Maintain accurate records and ensure full compliance with UK transport regulations
Contribute to improving operational efficiency and service quality
Assist with transport planning for new projects or contract tenders

Competitive salary circa £35k-£40k DOE and performance-based incentives
Standard working hours of 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
