Transport Planner | £35,000 – £40,000 per annum | Cheadle
Mon–Fri + 1 in 4 Sundays | 08:00–18:00

We’re on the hunt for a highly organised, solution-focused Transport Planner ready to take charge of daily logistics operations and keep things running like a well-oiled machine. If you thrive in a busy environment and love the buzz of transport coordination, keep reading.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
Mapping out efficient, cost-effective driver routes
Taking inbound calls and solving delivery queries with confidence
Providing real-time support to drivers throughout the day
Debriefing drivers and gathering key insights post-delivery
Collaborating closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure top-tier service
🕒 Your Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00
Plus 1 in 4 Sundays (because logistics never sleeps)
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Experience in transport planning or a similar logistics role
Excellent communication skills — you’re calm, clear, and confident
Proven ability to resolve problems under pressure
Familiarity with routing software and transport compliance (a big plus)
