Job Title: Transport Operator
Location: Eastleigh
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 per annum + £2,600 annual bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 8:00pm
No weekends | Bank holidays off
We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Operator to join our client's dynamic team in Eastleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with a background in transport or logistics operations to play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy transport department.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with the PM team to ensure smooth daily operations
Managing and supporting drivers throughout their shifts
Handling queries from drivers and customers via phone, email, and messaging platforms
De-briefing day drivers upon return and dispatching night drivers in a timely manner
Liaising with the warehouse to ensure coordination between departments
Verifying all scanning documentation is present, accurate, and complete
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a transport or logistics environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Confident using transport systems, emails, and messaging services
A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving
