About the Role
A leading logistics company is looking for an organised and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join their busy team. You will be responsible for route planning, driver allocation, and ensuring deliveries are made on time and in line with compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and optimise daily transport routes.
*
Allocate drivers and vehicles efficiently.
*
Monitor delivery schedules and resolve issues quickly.
*
Ensure compliance with driver hours, tachograph regulations, and H&S.
*
Liaise with clients, drivers, and internal teams.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Experience as a Transport Planner, Transport Supervisor, or similar.
*
Strong knowledge of UK road transport regulations.
*
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
*
IT literate (Excel, TMS).
