Transport Planner
Erith
Up to £35,(Apply online only) DOE
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
About the Role
My client is seeking a proactive and organised Transport Planner to join their team in Erith. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and planning skills who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
As a Transport Planner, you will be responsible for planning daily deliveries, liaising closely with drivers and subcontractors, and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation that meets customer
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule daily transport operations to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and subcontractors to coordinate transport plans.
Monitor delivery progress and address any operational issues or delays.
Support drivers with route planning, documentation, and day-to-day queries.
Provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed and managing expectations.
Ensure compliance with transport legislation and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of transport activities, costs, and performance.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in transport planning or Pallet Networks
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively.
Knowledge of UK road transport regulations and geography is advantageous.
