Position: Senior and Principal Transport Planner

Bennett & Game Recruitment are proud to represent a well-established engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across the UK development sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint Senior and Principal Transport Planners to join their Fareham office.
With over 15 years in business, the consultancy delivers high-quality transport, travel planning and civil engineering solutions for housebuilders, developers and local authorities. Projects range from small residential schemes to major mixed-use developments, offering exposure to a wide variety of work and clear routes to progression.
Senior / Principal Transport Planner - Role Overview
* Manage projects across all scales, from inception through to completion
* Undertake and review junction and microsimulation modelling
* Liaise with clients, local authorities and key stakeholders at all project stages
* Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members
* Represent the company at public consultations and meetings, ensuring technical excellence and professional delivery.
Senior / Principal Transport Planner - Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in transport planning within an Engineering consultancy
* Chartered or working towards Chartered status (CIHT, TPS, or ICE)
* Strong understanding of UK planning policy and transport assessment methods
* Experience managing projects, preparing fee proposals and overseeing junior staff
* Confident communicator with proven ability to lead client discussions and technical delivery
