Transport Planner Supervisor - Temporary to permanent

 Starting Salary 34K - 37K Starting, Approx

3 x bonus a Year ,

We're looking for an experienced Transport Planner Supervisor to lead our transport planning team and support the smooth day‑to‑day running of our transport operation.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise a team of transport planners and manage daily workloads
Plan and manage vehicle routes to meet delivery and service targets
Act as a point of escalation for operational issues and last‑minute changes
Ensure compliance with transport legislation and company procedures
Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers
Monitor performance, KPIs, and cost efficiency
Use transport systems to plan, track, and report on activityAbout You

Experience in transport planning or logistics operations
Previous supervisory or team‑leading experience
Good knowledge of transport compliance and drivers' hours
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Able to work calmly in a fast‑paced environment
Confident using transport management systems and Microsoft OfficeDesirable

CPC qualification or willingness to work towards it
