Job Description
Transport Shift Manager (Coventry)
~ Permanent Role ~
Location: Coventry, Warwickshire
Transport Shift Manager Shift & Hours of Work
• 4 Days on 4 Days off
• 06:00 - 18:00 (12 hours per shift)
Transport Shift Manager Pay Rates:
• £40,000 Basic
• £1000 - £4000 potential in bonus.
Transport Shift Manager Job role:
• Manage the day to day operations in a busy transport environment.
• Manage and coach HGV Drivers.
• Manage and Coach internal staff.
• Report to management with any issues, changes ect.
• Work on a night shift on a rare occasion to see the night operation of the business.
Transport Shift Manager - What we are looking for:
• Transport Shift Manager must have experience in a similar role.
• Transport Management CPC Desirable but not essential.
• Proven coaching/training experience.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must work well with others and as an individual.
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no DR/DD/BA offences)
