Transport Supervisor – Night – 4 on / 4 off
📍 Location: Brentwood, Essex
💰 Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
🕒 Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – Night Shifts (18:00–06:00 or 19:00–07:00)
Overview:
An established logistics provider is looking for a proactive and organised Night Transport Supervisor to oversee transport operations during night shifts. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in transport or logistics who thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at real-time problem-solving.
Key Duties:
Coordinate and communicate with drivers at the start of each shift
Monitor vehicle movements and ensure timely arrivals
Record essential data including mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle checks
Maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and internal systems
Assist with route planning and daily scheduling
Liaise with internal teams, customers, and external partners
Ensure all work is conducted in line with safety and compliance standards
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment
Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of transport regulations (CPC qualification advantageous)
Able to work independently during night shifts
Comfortable with data entry and managing records accurately
