Job Title: Travel & Tourism Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Sixth Form College
Contract: Part-time, 4 days per week
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and supportive Travel & Tourism Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a thriving sixth form college. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the travel, tourism, and hospitality sector, who enjoys helping young people succeed in their studies and career pathways.
As a Travel & Tourism LSA, you will provide both academic and practical support to students, ensuring they remain engaged and confident in their learning. You will work alongside teaching staff, helping students develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to progress into higher education, training, or employment in the travel and tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students during lessons and group activities.
*
Provide one-to-one or small group support for learners who need extra help.
*
Encourage student engagement, motivation, and confidence in both theory and practical tasks.
*
Assist in preparing learning materials and resources.
*
Promote key skills such as customer service, communication, and teamwork.
*
Collaborate with teaching staff to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Requirements:
*
A genuine interest in Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality.
*
Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
*
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*
Positive, proactive, and supportive attitude.
*
Commitment to helping students reach their potential.
