Job Description
Tray Installer(s) (Cable & Pipework) - Reading
Long-term contract
High hourly rates
With the award of a large, long-term HVAC Installation project close to Reading, we are looking to secure capable and experienced tray installation teams to install various sizes of cable/pipe trays ranging from 150mm to 300mm.
Key requirements:
• CSCS and IPAF required
• Health and Safety trained
• Experience in Installation, fabrication and modification of cable trays including but not limited to:
oCable tray supports fixing as per the routing layout drawings.
oRead tray drawings, map out the tray layout, considering entry/exit points, and support bracket locations.
oMark and drill holes for the mounting brackets based on the drawings.
oInstallation of brackets to ensure securely fastened to the mounting surface using the appropriate screws.
oPlace the pipe/cable trays onto the brackets, connecting multiple trays as needed.
oSecure cables: Organise cables within the trays and use cable ties or clips to keep them in place.
