Job Description
Responsible for individual contribution and possible assistant accountant/ graduate.
•Responsible multiple activities.
•Looks at day-to-day activities and 6 months ahead.
•Responsible for HO cash management.
•Main contact point with financial entities, staying up to date in latest cash management trends and proposing changes to maximise efficiency, financial earnings and cash management.
•Liaising with HO Spain, internal and external auditors for any request.
•Actively proposes investments, deposits or any other options to maximise cash management and interest earnings in UK.
•Participates in company wide treasury related systems implementations, as requested by the Head of Finance / Finance Director.
•Interacts with the finance team in different projects to provide support regarding cash management processes.
•Liaising with JV partners or clients as required.
•Liaising with other Ferrovial entities for settling intercompany accounts.
Supports the Senior Accountant / Head of Finance in the month end process in Head Office.
Oversees all cash management activities in UK, including but not limited to managing bank accounts, investments, cash reporting and treasury-related systems implementations, providing guidance to projects and JVs in any treasury-related matter.
Responsible for cash flow forecasting, actively seeking opportunities for maximising cash management and interest earnings and promptly identifying and anticipating cash needs to avoid any impact to operations.
Acts as main contact point in UK with Ferrovial Group Treasury department and with financial entities.
Other ad hoc tasks, as required by the Head of Finance / Finance Director.
