Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Tree and Landscaping Officer on a temporary basis to support a public-sector client. Key Responsibilities of the Tree and Landscaping Officer:
Provide specialist arboricultural guidance and technical assessments.
Conduct tree inspections, site visits, and evaluate tree safety and condition.
Process applications such as Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) and conservation area notifications.
Respond to inquiries and support enforcement actions relating to tree protection.
Contribute to planning consultations, ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation.
Help meet environmental, sustainability, and biodiversity objectives.
Ensure all activities adhere to health & safety legislation and industry standards.Candidate Responsibilities for the Tree and Landscaping Officer:
Carry out detailed tree surveys and safety assessments.
Prepare reports and recommendations based on site inspections.
Liaise with internal teams, contractors, developers, and the public.
Manage casework efficiently to meet deadlines.
Support environmental initiatives through expert advice and planning.
Driving to locations throughout the County (Mileage Expense paid through use of own vehicle at 0.45p per mile)
