We are seeking a Trust Tax Manager to join a growing Tax team in Thame. This role offers the opportunity to manage a complex portfolio of trust and estate clients, providing both compliance and advisory support within a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare annual tax returns and accounts for a portfolio of Trust and Estate clients.
• Review IHT returns (on death, periodic, and exit charges).
• Assist Partners with trust advisory work and technical queries.
• Manage client portfolios, including Trust Registration Service updates.
• Attend Trustee meetings and liaise directly with clients.
• Support senior team members as required.
Candidate Requirements:
• ACA or ACCA or CTA qualified, with 3+ years UK post-qualified experience.
• Strong knowledge of trusts and their tax implications.
• Experience with tax returns and accounts for UK trusts; agricultural sector experience desirable.
• Client relationship and project management skills.
• Strong communication, IT, and attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and commercially aware.
• Experience with CCH suite beneficial.
Employment Details:
• Full-time, permanent role.
• Hybrid working after probation: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
• Flexible working around core hours (10am–4pm).
