Founded in 1992, Real Life Options empowers individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live more independently, with choice and dignity. Now a leading national provider of care and support, the charity remains deeply committed to its founding values.
We’re seeking passionate, values-driven individuals to join their Board of Trustees. As a Trustee, you’ll take on a non-executive leadership role, helping to shape strategy, ensure good governance, and support the long-term sustainability of the organisation.
💼 We’re particularly keen to hear from people with experience in:
• Social care
• Finance, legal, or governance
• PR and communications
🕒 Time commitment:
• 4 board meetings per year (2 in Scotland, 2 in England)
• Additional time for preparation and optional sub-committees
• Voluntary role (expenses reimbursed)
